Is there a component to address differentiation for children that need more support?
The CIRCLE Infant and Toddler Curriculum was designed with flexible features to allow teachers greater ease as they plan and provide instruction best suited to the individual learner. Each activity is differentiated by age group, allowing you to use the information in the younger age range to make the activity less challenging or the information in the older age range to make the activity more challenging, depending on the needs of the child. Each activity also includes adaptation ideas and tips for supporting children’s individual needs in the areas of auditory, dual language, language and communication, motor, sensory, social and emotional, and visual. In addition, a Supporting All Children flip-book is available for purchase as part of the print curriculum. It provides specific guidance for adapting activities, routines, and materials to provide an equitable and inclusive learning environment for all children in the areas listed above.
